Maxima Maytag Washer Door Locked

How long has this been going on with your maytag washer. The door may immediately unlock. If the washer does not unlock at the end of a wash cycle unplug the appliance or disconnect power. The door should unlock after this is complete.

What happened just before your maytag washer displayed this message. Run a drain and spin cycle. The door should unlock after 60 seconds. Our maytag maxima steam washer has a flashing yellow light next to door locked the door won t open and the machined cannot be turned on.

Our maytag washer is displaying e01 and f09 codes. The control will not accept any input during this time. Wait approximately 2 minutes for control to reset. Once the washer door is closed the washer can begin operating.

Pull down on this tab and then open the door. Reconnect power to washer plug in. If the washer has an f8 e1 error or lo fl error the door will be locked and the control will be unresponsive. It stopped right after it dispensed the detergent and i ve tried all of the not so helpful repair advise on the maytag website and i still can t get it unlocked.

Unplug the washer then pull the top panel of the washer straight back up and off. During this period you will be able to hear the pump running. After 8 minutes the door will unlock. Door lock can fail either mechanically or electrically. Wait approximately 2 minutes for control to reset. Press the power button and the washer will start a drain routine which takes approximately 8 to 10 minutes during which time the pump will run continuously.

The door lock led light will blink. Is there anything that i can do to clear the codes and unlock the front load door. I noticed that my maytag maxim front load washer was flashing door lock and error code f6e1 i think along with annoying chimes or buzzing.
