Tile coasters look awesome using photos instead of craft paper but there are some special tips to make them turn out right.
Carefully add your image to the tile if you are using something like a paper napkin or other thin material be very careful because it will tear easily.
If you print your photos at home using an inkjet printer then you need to use a different glue instead of mod podge.
At the restore small white square tiles are plentiful and cheap.
Place your scrapbook paper square onto the mod podged tile.
Cut a piece of felt the same size as the paper you cut for the front of the tiles.
They make the perfect base for the coaster.
In addition to the surface you re going to need some paper or fabric with a pretty design.
The best thing about this type of project is that you can literally tailor it to any style color palette you want there are so many great gift wrap scrapbook papers out there so the sky s the limit.

The project as a whole took maybe an hour but a lot of that time was down time while the different steps were drying i was cooking between the steps.
